Dreamlight Project
In our exhibition, I believe it was a success. It was a very long process to get everything done but when we finished it was very nice. When me and my partner Gus finished we decided to help other groups and their installation because we didn't have one and the final product was something me and my partner were very proud of. If I was to grade myself on this project I would grade myself an A because this project is what I believe is the best project I have had and best outcome as well. Throughout this project, I made very good work with my partner and worked very well with him. In terms of our learning outcomes, I believe in work ethic I did very well in time management since I and Gus finished early. For Collaboration, I think I did the best in because I was with my partner Gus at almost all times and working hard with him including coming after school to finish extra things with him. In Oral Communication I believe I also did very well in because on Exhibition night I and Gus were able to explain the whole project well and talk about our lanterns and how all of the lanterns work to all of the parents and students that walked by. In written communication, I did very well in the creation of me and my partner's Artist statement in writing it to the presentation of it. With the content knowledge, I believe I did well on it from exhibition night from knowing what I was talking about. When someone came up with a question I was able to answer it because I knew what I was talking about. Throughout this project, I believe I did the strongest with collaboration, because like I explained before I and Gus were always working together and doing very well with our lantern and circuits. From all of the learning outcomes i think the one that I could improve on the most is probably Content knowledge even though I believe I did good I think that I could have done better in exhibition night because Gus was talking more about the circuits than me because he had a better understanding than me and I want to improve onto that because I didn't know small things on the spot. In the class values, I feel like I demonstrated responsibility from when we were working on our lanterns circuiting. For grit, I believe I showed it by when me and Gus we were working on our circuit and it wasn't working well so we had to try and try again until it was successful. For respect, I believed when we were going through a feedback session and I and Gus were being respectful of people's opinion and what we could do better with our lantern and circuits. I showed integrity from when we where working on our artist statements I was extremely focused trying to make the artist statements look nice, and finally for empathy I showed it from when something bad happened to the installations or it didn't go as planned and the people got frustrated I showed empathy from trying to see it from their point of view and trying to help them. So overall this was an amazing exhibition and process leading to it.
