World's Fair Project
This project was a really fun and interesting one, the most interesting thing I learned about my decade from this project is how much of a musical influence Spain has had on the rest of the world, like how they created the first 6-stringed guitar and the first flamenco guitar. Spain still uses these inventions to this day. Somethings that have not changed about Spain from the 1980’s to today is how big music is in their culture and how they have had a lot of diversity in food. These 2 things have been something that Spain has been known for. Some things that have changed are the advancement in all of their inventions compared to the beginning technology. In this project we made a lot of different products and artifacts but my favorite piece that my group made was our painting. It looks very well done and my group worked very hard on it. It is a painting of a flamenco dancer in a city with a nice sunset. I overall just love how clean and nice it looks and that’s why I like it so much. I learned the most about Spain’s culture from the music, to the dancing, to the social events, and to the food. This project was overall very good but if i could change one thing I would change our time era and make our product a guitar. I feel like that would have really been fun, and cool especially if Calvin played it for our video.I learned a lot about the history of Spain in this project and it was very interesting, I learned about how their way of living hasn't changed much and how Spain is really a amazing place to go and visit. Overall this project was a great one full of history, I really enjoyed it.
