Re-Inventing Romeo & Juliet Roller Coaster & Revolutions
In this project it started by reading Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and once we finished with that we started to research about a certain world conflict (which mine was the Vietnam war). Then we started making individual products (which mine was based on music) and i connected my music to romeo and Juliet and the Vietnam war. Then we made a roller coaster that represented Romeo & Juliet and the Vietnam war and we connect all of the coasters together. In Humanities it mostly was the history and writing, In physics we did the energy audit, and then for engineering we made the roller coaster.
The most outstanding moment of this project was probably the exhibition because i felt so good when i was answering every question that came my way and i felt really comfortable talking to the parents and students. One moment I felt successful was probably when my 2 partners where gone and there was a group of people at my table and i explained all the physics and the history of the conflict. Another time was when me and my partners started connecting the track before exhibition. We rolled the ball and it worked for the first time especially when it was connected to the group above us. I was super happy with this project overall especially those moments.
If we where to redo this project me and my group would probably work on 1 thing at a time together and finish it and move to the next thing to do because we tried to give eachother jobs and we were working at different places a good portion of the time. In the design pitch I wish i answered a lot more questions because chris and Aidan answered most of those questions. For the Exhibition i don't think i would have changed anything because i feel like me and my group did everything we had to do and we did really good in oral communication and presenting our information, data and history.
